Andy Grieve Booklet

Welcome to Andy's web site, a one-stop shop for all of your Andy Hollinden needs. Andy's needs are another subject entirely.

ANDY TO PLAY BLOOMINGTON'S BLUEBIRD NIGHTCLUB! Yes, his gigs are few and far between, so don't blow your one chance to hear Andy perform. Doors open at 9:00 and the opening act begins at 10:00. After that, Andy & the band will play a set of his original material drawn primarily from the CDs Grieve For The Living, Trust Yourself, and Heat To Fragrance. Then they’ll come back out and play a set of classic rock songs by the bands that he teaches in the rock history classes at IU (Hendrix, Beatles, The Who, Dylan, Black Sabbath, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, etc.). Glenn Gass, Andy's colleague who teaches the early-era rock and Beatles courses, will join them for a bunch of songs. It’ll be big, loud, and electric. They don’t pussyfoot around. This is not a show for the sleepy or faint of heart - good for people who like to get their ya-yas out!

GOOD NEWS! The agonizing wait is over. Andy's new CD, Grieve For The Living, has arrived. Visit the MUSIC page to hear or download a couple of the new songs. While there, you can also access some representative songs from Andy's previous releases. You can purchase CDs from the CDs page, so don't blow all of your dough elsewhere. If you don't have (or want to deal with opening) a PayPal account, you can always order CDs direct. Just send a check or money order to Andy at the address found on the CONTACT page. People in Bloomington can find copies of the CDs for sale at Landlocked Music on Walnut and Tracks on Kirkwood.
